HRH Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan Al Saud​

His Royal Highness was appointed by royal order on 26/09/1438 AH as an Advisor at the Royal Court at the Excellent Rank, before embarking on his diplomatic career. In 2019, he was appointed Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Federal Republic of Austria, and in 2023 assumed his duties as Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany. Since 2026, His Royal Highness has served as Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Authority and chairs and serves on a number of other committees. As a member of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Technical Committees, His Royal Highness contributes to the Board’s work relating to horse racing and leads the committees responsible for overseeing the technical and operational aspects of racing and reviewing race programmes, rules and technical standards. Through these responsibilities, he contributes to raising the standard and efficiency of racing and strengthening its competitiveness. His Royal Highness’s direct involvement in this area is further reflected in his continued contribution to the development of the Club’s racing programmes and technical direction. His Royal Highness’s diplomatic career also extends to a range of international and multilateral assignments. During his tenure in Vienna, he served as the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and international organisations in Vienna, as well as Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency. He also undertook a number of other diplomatic and international representational responsibilities, building extensive experience in international relations and in bilateral and multilateral diplomacy. Academically, His Royal Highness holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Columbia University in the United States and a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
