His Excellency Mr. Hamed bin Mohammed Fayez​

His Excellency was appointed Deputy Minister of Culture at the Excellent Rank by Royal Order dated 14/11/1439 AH. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Authority and chairs and serves on a number of other committees. As a member of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia’s Board of Directors, His Excellency contributes to the Board’s deliberations on the Club’s directions, policies, and strategic and corporate matters, drawing on his broad government, cultural and professional experience. As Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, he leads the Committee’s work in reviewing nominations for leadership positions, workforce plans, remuneration and incentive policies, and performance evaluation frameworks, indicators and targets. The Committee also submits its related recommendations to the Board of Directors, supporting the development of corporate practices and enhancing performance efficiency across the Club. Before entering government service, His Excellency built a distinguished career in the financial and banking sector with a number of leading domestic and international institutions, including Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs, where he served as Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs Saudi Arabia. His leadership career also extended to the National Commercial Bank, where he headed Asset Management at NCB Capital, before leading Private Banking and later the Retail Banking Group. Academically, His Excellency holds a Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University in the United States, with a double major in Mathematical Sciences and Economics and a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship.
