The world-class Diriyah International Jockeys' Challenge takes place Friday 13 February 2026 and is made up of seven international women, two locally-based men and five international men competing individually for a share of the $100,000 prize. All races consist of 14 runners, and jockeys will earn points based on their finishing position as well as taking home 15 per cent of the $400,000 prize money from each individual race. The conditions of each event are as below and will be staged as races two, three, five and six on the race card.

Points are awarded over the four races, two of which are staged on dirt and two on turf, as follows:

  • Winner: 15 points
  • Second: 10 points
  • Third: 7 points
  • Fourth: 4 points
  • Fifth: 2 points

The jockey with the most points after the four races will be crowned the winner. If a dead heat occurs, the points for the two places are added together, divided by two and shared between the two jockeys.

If there is a tie, there will be a countback on the number of winners and the jockey with the most winners will be adjudged the winner overall.

  • 3rd: $10,000
  • 4: $5,000
  • 5th to 14th: $3,500 each
